Mission Statement
If you are looking for quality, Purvis Jewelers is your jewelry store.
We have specialized in fine custom-made jewelry since 1974. Owner John W. Purvis III has received a variety of jewelry design awards, including the prestigious DeBeers Diamonds of Today Award-Beyond Nature, the Jewelers of America National Award, and he has won numerous Rocky Mountain Jewelers Design Contests. We can take your old jewelry and magically create a new, vibrant look. We specialize in 18 karat and platinum designs, and carry an array of colored gemstones and fine diamonds at competitive prices.
Purvis Jewelers prides itself on its record of customer service and satisfaction. Each of our customers is special to us and we will do whatever it takes to keep you happy. We offer in-house appraisals and have an American Gem Society Accredited Gem Lab. What does this mean to you? It means that you're assured of getting an appraisal from a lab that has met the criteria of the American Gem Society, an organization consisting of the most-ethical jewelers in America. You must have the right equipment, the right training, and most-importantly, the highest moral standards to be named an American Gem Society jewelry store and gem lab.
In-house repairs are a tradition with us. Your jewelry remains in our hands, not to be sent out to a "trade shop" for repair. You can talk directly to the jeweler who is going to repair your cherished jewelry item.
We carry Lazare Ideal Cut Diamonds-the finest diamonds on the market today. Each Lazare diamond is cut for maximum brilliance and beauty, and is laser-inscribed with an identification number for your protection. Ideal cut diamonds (and cut grading) are our specialty. We give a 100% trade-up on any diamond you purchase from us. You can upgrade in size or quality anytime after your initial purchase, and you receive the purchase price of the original diamond when you trade it in towards your new (improved) diamond.
Purvis Jewelers has years of experience. We have been located in Lakewood, CO since 1974. Mall jewelers and department stores pay a great deal of overhead and advertising costs, (the employees come and go). We are a small family-operated store, and as such we can pass on savings to you. You will see a familar face when you visit our store, and you have contact with the person whose name is on the door and whose reputation is on the line.
Come in for a free-cleaning and checking of your jewelry and let us introduce ourselves to you. We look forward to your visit.
